maemoCJKがOS2008版N800に対応

ほぼ毎日、maemoCJKサイトを見にいって、いつ対応するか待ちかねていたが、やっと使えるようになったらしい。

さっそくダウンロード。続いてインストール終了。その後、リブートすると、ステータスバーにAnthyのアイコンが出現している。試しにNotesを立ち上げて、日本語入力をしようとすると、キーボードが出ない。。。

maemoCJK でInstruction をもう一度読むと

1. For both N800 & N810, click on the icon and reboot the device after the installation is complete.

2. For N800, continue to the Application Installer and install matchbox-keyboard from the list of installable packages. This should enable the software keyboard.

第一段階しかすませていなかった。

で、matchbox-keyboardはどこからインストールするの？コントロールパネルやSettingsを探して、やっと発見。Settings-Application manager-Browse Installabler applicarions下にあった。

インストール後、念願かなって日本語入力ができるようになった。

webもほら、大丈夫。

このあと、続いて繁体字中文もインストールた。これでネット巡回用にはOKになった。
